# End

> Exit point of every workflow

The **End** node marks the successful end of a run. When execution reaches it, the run completes and the extracted data is returned in the `execution.success` webhook payload. Every workflow has exactly one End node.

## Parameters

End takes no parameters. Set `parameters` to an empty object.

## Example

```json theme={null}
{
  "id": "c3d4e5f6-7890-4abc-def1-234567890abc",
  "name": "Done",
  "action": "END",
  "parameters": {}
}
```

## Edges

End has no outgoing edges. Point the last node of each branch at it:

```json theme={null}
{
  "edges": {
    "last-node-id": { "to": "end-node-id" }
  }
}
```

## Notes

* Several branches can lead to the same End node
* To end a branch with a failure instead, use `error_on_false_message` on a [Bool Condition](/concepts/workflow-dsl/bool-condition) node
* To drop scratch values from the result before the run ends, use a [Transform](/concepts/workflow-dsl/transform) node with `DELETE` operations
