Scroll - CloudCruise

The Scroll node scrolls the page or specific containers to reveal content, trigger lazy loading, or navigate to specific elements.

Parameters

Parameter	Type	Required	Description
`scroll_mode`	string	No	`simple` (default), `to-element`, or `region`
`load_events_triggered_through_scroll`	number	Yes	Number of scroll wheel steps in `simple` mode. Set `0` for other modes
`direction`	string	No	`up`, `down` (default), `left`, or `right`. Used by `simple` and `region`
`scroll_down`	boolean	No	`simple` mode, vertical: `true` (default) scrolls down, `false` scrolls up. Set it to `false` together with `direction: "up"`
`xpath`	string	Conditional	Target element. Required for `to-element`. In `region` mode with `goal: "find-element"`, it is relative to `container_xpath`
`position`	string	No	Where the target ends up in the viewport: `start`, `center` (default), or `end`
`container_xpath`	string	Conditional	Scrollable container. Required for `region`
`goal`	string	Conditional	`region` mode: `find-element` (scroll until `xpath` is visible) or `full-container` (scroll to the container’s end, or its start for `direction: "left"`). Required for `region`
`execution`	string	No	`STATIC` (default) or `LLM_VISION`. `LLM_VISION` finds the target or container from a screenshot instead of XPaths, for `to-element` and `region` modes
`target_description`	string	No	`LLM_VISION`: what to scroll to
`container_description`	string	No	`LLM_VISION`: which container to scroll
`wait_time`	number	No	Maximum time (ms) to wait for elements. Default: 15000

Scroll Modes

simple

Scroll the page in a direction by a number of wheel steps. Useful for triggering lazy loading.

to-element

Scroll until a specific element is visible.

region

Scroll within a specific container, either to its end or until an element inside it is visible.

Notes

Click and Input Text scroll their target into view on their own (unless omit_scroll is set), so a Scroll node is usually only needed for lazy loading or content that appears on scroll
